I bought Chico this new dog bed last week. I waited to post about it because I wanted to see how he liked it, and now I can safely say he LOVES it! It's one of those dog beds that looks like a big pillow. I got it at Wal-Mart for $12. I had bought him 2 beds before this one. They were just the right size for him, but I guess he wanted something big...lol.

My kitties like it too, but they have to either sleep on it with Chico or they have to wait until Chico goes to bed in the bedroom because Chico does NOT like to share. He's a little stinker! :lol: I highly recommend this kind of bed, especially if you like to lay on the floor with your Chi...it's quite comfy.

What material is Chico's new bed? Peanut has a little bed (well big for him

) but I had to put two pillow covers on it becaue all he does is chew and swallow the little fuzzy things on the bed- Sorry Im not really sure what material it is or what its called but it looks kind of like lint. Ive been looking for another kind of bed for him but all the good ones Ive seen seem to be that same linty material.

The funny thing is that now he has figured it out and actually goes under both covers!!!

I'm not sure what material it is, maybe cotton? its not one of those linty beds...chico used to scratch them too and get fuzzied everywhere, lol. it just looks like a huge pillow. the cover has a zipper on it which makes it easy to clean. i got it at Wal-Mart...its an "Ole Roy" (sp?) bed. it's blue and light brown flannel colored.

This is cocos bed and she loves it too - we all spoil our chis dont we!

I have a pic of her in her bed but the files to big to but on - you may be able to see her pic behind this pic tho...

aaaww, thats a cute little bed

i had to get chico a big bed because he never used the smaller ones i got him...so this one he has he loves. i'll probably have to take it with us when we go to cali this summer, lol.

hehe wel jst as long as its a bed he loves it dnt matter - coco also loves our other dog broxys fur throw bed - and she loves my bed too - the wee cheeky monkey spreads her legs all over and i only get a little corner hee hee!

here is what chico's bed looks like. its not the same one, but his looks exactly like it and the colors are very similar.

oh yes...he LOOOVES his bed

he looks so cute when hes sleeping in it all cuddled up with his blanket. i have a feeling that if we ever go somewhere overnight, i'm going to have to bring it :lol:

I'd like one like that...throughout my house we have wooden floors and u can't sit on em with out getting a stiff bum :lol:

Chico's Mama, that bed is really nice looking, I know you said that picture is not the exact one, but is it that size? Or is it a bit smaller.. Because $12 for that kind of bed is REALLY cheap, at PetsMart that would probably cost like $35 if not more. I have a Walmart right next to my house but I dont think I have seen that kind of bed for that price. Now I feel bad because compared that Chico's bed, Peanuts bed is TINY

Yes, thats just about the size of Chico's bed. i bought him one that big because the other 2 i had bought him were small and he never used them. i'm almost positive i paid $12 for it at Wal-Mart...it was marked $12, maybe it was on sale or something when i got it. i was surprised when i saw the price too, because like you said, they're around $30 or more at Petco or Petsmart...which is why i grabbed it, lol.

I want to buy it for Peanut but the problem is that he likes to burrow in his bed and he wont be able to do that. I think im going to have to buy him a kitty bed that doesnt have the fuzzy things that he likes to chew on

here's one from the wal-mart website that doesn't look like it has fuzzies and it looks like he could burrow into it and be really comfy

I really like that bed and I think he would really like it too. I am going to go to Wal-Mart and look for it and I will let you know if Peanut likes it.
