"AAAHHH, Don't sit on me!"

That's what Chico said to daddy yesterday. We have this hammock chair that sinks down really low, and Chico has taken it for himself. He always sleeps on it and likes to be covered by his blanket while in it. Well, yesterday he was covered and my hubby didn't look carefully and almost sat on my Chico! I saw him out of the corner of my eye and instinct was to scream like a maniac. My husband jumps up and i'm like "you almost sat on Chico!" He lifts the blanket and there's Chico, looking up at him as if to say "you meanie!" He is fine, no harm done...but I think my hubby will be looking more carefully from now on

Weve come pretty close to sitting on our smaller two Rosie and Fynn,or nearly treading on Rosie as she blends into the carpet.Sullys bigger so easier to see, have to be so careful.
i know, very careful. one time chico and i were sleeping in the bed, chico was laying next to me and i woke up and didn't see him. i rolled over to get out of bed and i accidentally rolled him off the bed, lol. our bed is VERY close to the ground because i have a futon (back problems, need a firm surface) so he only rolled a few inches. he landed on the cat, so she broke his fall (she's a fat kitty) he jumped back on the bed and started licking me cause he knew it was an accident
You're not alone ladies, my dad sat on Lexi this afternoon when she was sleeping
But she's fine! I told him to imagine she could be sitting anywhere at any time, so he's totally on edge lol.

I swear they know when it's an accident. Or maybe it's just that they know we'd never ever hurt them on purpose. :)

And tell that husband of yours to be more careful where he puts his butt. :D
LOL...oh, he knows Rachael. I told him from now on he needs to look before he sits. And I agree, they can tell when it's an accident. Chico knows i'd never ever intentionally hurt him.
i am so nervous about rolling onto chiwi at night cause she broke the rules of sleeping in my bed. i have her bed on my bed and the rules are she can be up there so long as she sleeps in her bed well i've been waking up with her curled up under my chin or behind my knees. needless to say i haven't been sleeping that great lately.
I use to really worry about rolling on Auggie in my sleep but i discovered he really does know to get out of the way
