Well it wasnt my usual vet I saw it was another one the 2 I usually see are both really good I think there are like 4 at the practice. I dunno maybe just that one was a pleb lol but if I spend £40 in a vet I do kinda expect him to be checked over and ok he seems perfectly healthy and may just have a very sensitive tummy, he did have weaning problems and a bad tummy 3 weeks ago and was on antibiotics :( I just wanna know whats wrong with my little boy :(
I don't blame you a bit. Stitch is so tiny and he had issues while he was still with the breeder (didn't that delay you getting him for a week?). Add to that the stress of moving and leaving mommy, plus the fact that he's still not quite right... of course you're concerned. We all know how quickly these little ones can go downhill once something hits them. You are asking for what you're entitled to, in my opinion.

I guess i need to remind my vet that i don't like the conservative route and always want to run every tests available when my baby is sick! lol
I'm right there with you on that. I understand that some folks don't have the money or, frankly, the inclination to want every test done and they might appreciate that type of vet.

I remember filling out the application the first time we went to our vet and the last question was something about whether you consider your pet to be "just" a pet or a cherished member of the family. Maybe there was a third option there too. I checked off the cherished thing and wrote that Lily is like a child to me and there's nothing or no one more important in my life. Just so they know. And believe me, they do know. They always kid me about it in a good-natured way. I don't mind in the least, especially since it reminds THEM how much she means to me.
