They are not supposed to. You have to teach them not to do that. Some people on this forum have said to use a squirt gun if they try to do it. :lol:

Yep, the squirt gun works like a charm. Jasmine did not chase or try to bite visitors coming or leaving but I couldn't walk down the hall without her nipping at my feet and ankles or grabbing a pant leg. I'd walk down the hall, dragging a puppy behind me. :lol: I had tried time outs in her crate -did no good at all. Someone on this forum suggested a squirt gun and I thought "what the heck, I'll give it a try". Only took 3 times being squirted for her to get the message.
