There was an incident with poop last night (best not to go into details - yuk!) so my two had to have a bath.

Chloe tolerates it but Ax absolutely loves it! It's so cute, he sits down and then leans back against the edge of the tub and half closes his eyes. He also really enjoys a soapy massage. Evey dog i've owned has tried to scramble out of the tub as soon as they feel you loosen their grip so it's funny to see this little guy love it so much. He enjoys swimming in the dam at grandma's farm too, and he gets a bath after that so it's like the best thing ever to him!

You guys are so lucky. So far Daisy acts like I'm trying to drown her. But Rocki was the same way and now in the summer she'll get in the kiddie pool with my son and just splash around. So I'm praying that Daisy will go that route too.

Daisy hates it. She tries to climb out the whole time, clings to the tap for dear life, and usually ends up clawing her way up onto my arms and I have to wash her and soak myself at the same time.

If ever I bath her with out getting drenched and my arms scratched to pieces, it'll be a miracle.

NO NO NO

I wish I brought my camera in today LOL. My two got baths last night. You say the word bath to BG and the room drops 30 degrees. I took her upstairs to my showers and she was hiding under clothes, ears back shaking (yes I snapped a photo but forgot camera)

Sonny on the other hand will sit in my lap while I give BG a bath and reach in the shower to kiss her but as soon as it is his turn he tries to run out of the shower with soap still on him.

My two hate a bath!

Too funny Sarah! I wish Miya was like that. She's more of a tolerate it for 2 mins then tries to bail. I can just se Axle relaxing back getting his spa session in. hahahaha.

Those of you with Chi's who love or at least like baths are so lucky. JJ isn't fond of them but will tolerate them. Monty is a whole other story. During his first bath I was lucky to get most of him washed. He isn't a fighter, just an escape artist.

I can't complain all 3 of mine are really good about baths and as for the grooming part....they love the blow dryer and brushings...plus when necessary they hold still for clippings to. Hannah sits for her bath and just sucks it up while Moose and Jasper just stand in their tubby and give out kisses while being washed. I am truly lucky.

On a side note our kitty Haley (we adopted 3 months ago) is about 9 months old...she loves water to the extent that if there is a sink full of it in the bathroom or kitchen she literally climbs on in and soaks her self. Frequently I have had to get her out, hold her over the sink to drip off then towel dry her. Go figure!!! I have had cats that played with faucets or in sinks with little drops of water, but never one that climbs in a sink full of warm water to wash and play. She has a great time all by herself. Silly Kitty!

Is Haley a Main ****? We had one and she loved getting in the bath with my son. And jumping in sinks full of water, too.

My toy poodle used to love to sit and soak the little bones in the tub. Nala will tolerate it, but it's obvious she thinks I'm trying to kill her. I wonder if it's because I started my toy poodle very young with baths and Nala was already a year old when we got her?
