About the name, Baboushka means grandma.
The reason you might think it means scarf is because in Russia our grannies all wear scarves
on their head, therefore when I wear a scarf to church hubby says I look like Baboushka,lol.
None the less it's original, but as I said before now you need a Dedoushka!(meaning grandpa) :lol:

It's just the English speaking folks who started using the term because of our Russian
grannies, it's not an actual definition, just a slang I guess. It's just such a unique looking scarf
that when someone wears it the English folks call it Baboushka scarf, meaning granny scarf.
But who cares, it's original and fun! No worries. :) I didn't mean to be a smarty pants, just
thought I should let you know since I speak fluent Russian. Anywho, how old is Tico?

Baboushka reminded me of a funny song I heard not long ago. :)
It is really ridiculous and makes no sense, but you guys might still get a giggle out of it, take a look...
