me too :D the only problem is i suck at it :D

everything that goes in the oven with me like cakes, pies and brownies are sure to fail

kisses nat
lol, i used to be like that. i tried to make a round shaped cake one time. i put the batter in a round pan and started to bake it, turned out the round pan was a pizza pan! luckily my uncle got it out of the oven before a mess was made

but, i have learned to bake very well and i just love it! my hubby loves my chocolate chip cookies, and he insists that every year for his b-day i make him a German chocolate cake. i also made chocolate bourban balls last new years and brought them to my MIL's new years party and everyone LOVED them. they couldn't believe i made them myself :D

um, :D is it just me or does the recipe for the apples 'n oats treats sound good enough to eat (for people) hehehe

"Ingredients: Unbleached white flour, rolled oats, dried apples, lecithin, cinnamon."

But, what exactly is "lecithin?"
tiffany
oh, i know!! chico loves the apple's n oats ones. and they made my house smell so good while they were baking.

to answer your question about lecithin...it's a substance that helps the nervous system and circulatory system. Here is an explanation of it that i got from www.1001herbs.com :

"Lecithin (Nervous, Circulatory) is a fatlike substance called a phospholipid. It is produced daily by the liver if the diet is adequate. It is needed by every cell in the body and is a key building block of cell membranes; without it, they would harden. Lecithin protects cells from oxidation and largely comprises the protective sheaths surrounding the brain. It is composed mostly of B vitamins, phosphoric acid, choline, linoleic acid and inositol. Although it is a fatty substance, it is also a fat emulsifier. Hence, it supports the circulatory system. Its choline is useful for making acetylcholine."
