bobo and i just got back from the vet a few
hours ago. he g0t his 3rd puppy shot today
and his microchip. oh man, oh man
was it extremely horrible. i almost cried
and i couldnt even speak straight after he got the
chip shot!

he didnt cry when he got his 2 shots for his 3rd vacc.
but man.................that microchip needle...... :sweats:
he screamed and cried bloody murder. and it was
bleeding!..i wasnt expecting that...oh my..that needle..
i've never seen something so big. :faints:

i dont think a human could even handle that needle!
but he was okay once it was done (almost immediately after).
i'm so proud of him. he did great considering.

looks like it has stopped bleeding already. he's been sleeping
ever since we got home. poor guy must be drained.

I'm glad that is all over for him!
yeah..now he can be found =)
Poor little Bobo...that sounds just awful ( albeit for a good purpose )...I am thankful Bella was done when I got her...Bella send Bobo a hug and says she hopes he got a special treat for being such a brave little man.
Poor Bobo... that's why I had them do Cooper's chip while he was gettin his nuggets cut. He was so small and the needle is so big and I would have passed out, on top of what it would have done to Coop.

I'm glad your little pup is chipped now though; it's nice to have that assurance.
dang that sounds painful!! If I ever do that to Britney, I'd wanna be there for two reasons.. 1) i want her to feel SOMEWHAT ok..as long as I'm there and 2)cause i'd just like to see how it's done
Poor little Guy! I'm so glad it's over and he is doing ok. Sometimes doing what's good/right means dealing with a little pain. It's harder on us than the Chi's I think. We just don't want out babies to hurt. :sad3:

Ick.. no you wouldn't. That needle is so big around in comparison to a chi puppy... ick, ick, ick!!
It's actually done just like a normal vaccination shot, except it's a bigger needle and there's no liquid going in, just the chip. Ick... ick, ick, ick. I watched them do it to a big dog before I let them do it to Cooper. Ick.

I hate needles. Ick. :pale: (Sorry to use the H word, but it's called for in this situation.)
thanks for your cares everyone.....bobo's wound has healed
already and as you can see...

he's back to his normal crazy self =)

(charging the camera)
yeah That needle is big isn't it? Gadget had to have 2 techs hold him so the doc could give him his rabies shot and his last parvo shot and his chip.... but after t was done he was wonderfully hyper and about 3 hours later he was so sore he couldn't lay down... I had to put a pillow under his belly so he could aluy on it nad another one under his chin so he would be comfy and get some sleep...but he was bouncing off the walls by 4 am the next morning...
