The kitten and his 2 siblings were found in the woods across the street from Lily's daycare. The mom was either dead or dying so some kind person brought the kitties to the daycare to be looked after and adopted out. Any time there are very young kittens or puppies at the daycare, no matter what size, they are given over to Lily to mother for a few days. She's great at calming their fears and helping them adjust to the daycare environment. I melted into a big soppy puddle the first time they told me that. :lol:

Awwww.... Lily's such a good girl. She must have got her passion for baby rescue from her momma. You did good, Lily's mom!!!

Thanks, I wish I could take credit but I've always attributed it to the fact that Lily was a mommy herself. That maternal instinct is still strong in her.
