Radley has discovered his bravery bone at some point over this weekend. Not only has he learnt to bark, but he has learnt that strangers can be fun to play with (OH parents visited), the balcony isnt that scary & neither is the kitchen when it is dark and vets can be friendly too (just cuddled the vet and gave her a kiss).

He has just had his second vaccination so is almost ready to go out in the big wide world for walks etc. He was very brave, let out a little whimper but generally perfect behaviour.

How long did you wait before you took them out after the 2nd jab? I have been told 5 days by one vet & 7days by another.

He also had his claws trimmed today and again brave boy didn't even wriggle.

Not sure about the UK but in the US it is not recommended until the full series of vaccinations are complete. I carried mine and didnt take mine to places where dogs frequented until the full series was complete. Dog parks, rest stops (when traveling), ball fields and parks, pet stores and the floor of the vets as well as outside at the vets were all off limits.
