We got this dog a month or so after I got Cuddles (I still live with my family, and my younger brother decided to get a puppy, since I got one.) We were told he was a Shiba/Chihuahua, but he has a really low, long body like a Corgi. My guesses are either Shiba/Corgi or Chihuahua/Corgi.

He weighs about 20 pounds.

I know this is a pretty bad pic, but I might take more later.

That's him. His name is Tyson.

I know it's not easy guessing breeds just through appearance. If DNA testing wasn't a little expensive, I'd test him. Maybe in the future when I save up some money I will. I really wish I could DNA test the other two mutts, too.

One interesting characteristic he has is he rarely barks. He only barks when something is wrong, which I think is great. I wish Cuddles were like that, but she has a bit of a Chihuahua mouth :p. He's smart but a tad stubborn. He actually taught himself to sit from watching the other dogs. He was also excellent to house-train. He can be a lapdog sometimes, but only when he wants to. Otherwise, he'll wiggle out of your arms. He's also an escape artist, which can be frustrating sometimes. It seems like he thinks escaping is a game.

He sounds like a sweet heart! I think all dogs are escape artist until taught otherwise. Mines do not go near the door because they will wiggle through my feet and escape. As far as his breed, I think he looks like a Shiba/Chihuahua not a corgi from the pic but that is my opinion. A DNA test is the way to go if you want to be sure but me personally I would not spend money on it. Its all a matter of views, most dogs have been cross bred to look a certain way so even if they tell you what hes mixed with its still all mixes. Mixed breeds are known to be healthier and some say even smarter so you have an awesome dog.

The picture is quite dark, and its hard to see. Corgi mix would usually have a long back. Shiba's are taller dogs than corgi's. See if you can get a picture of him standing up?

I will try to get one today, if he stays still lol :). He does have a long body and short legs.
His face doesn't look too Corgi-like, but it does look Shiba-like to me. But the rest of his body definitely looks Corgi-like to me.
Whatever he is, we still love him lol.

I don't see any Chi in him TBH. Did you not see him with his mother? Then at least you are certain of half his breeding
I didn't get to see the mother, since he's my brother's dog. He's the type of person who wouldn't even bother asking. The only way I'd get a supposed cross-breed is at the shelter.

I don't, either.
