where abouts in ct are you?!
unfortunatly there are NO akc registered breeders in ct.
I looked and looked lol and the only person i managed to find saying was a breeder was a guy in northern ct, but when i called there was the distinct echo of a kennel and barks that certainly wernt just 1 breed, after talking to him all his pups are ckc and american pet registry, and he ALWAYS (in his own words) has a 'selection' of chihuahuas for sale. other things he said just didnt sit right
so i didnt quite like the sound of that, sounded very much like a mill kind of situation.
the closest akc breeders are in NJ
i ended up getting vixie from a breeder in oklahoma, and she was flown to bradley airport.
I also know some other breeders that have itters that will fly the puppies and have before with much sucess...let me know ifyou would like their contact info.

I am in CT too! You might want to join the New Haven Chihuahua Meetup depending on your location. It's great fun!
No there aren't any reputable chihuahua breeders in CT. So since you already would need to travel alittle to visit a good breeder I was thinking maybe you would want to adopt. Please check out this little baby boy with such a sad story. I think he would be worth the travel!

I live in Rhode Island, which isnt too far from CT.. there are a few breeders in RI.. i got my AKC registered Princess Lola from a breeder in Westport, MA.. she has both short and long coat, i am not sure if she has any right now, i think one of her females is pregnant. she has five chihuahuas and is a good family breeder.. it was a little on the expensive side, my Lola was 1,000 dollars, but i just feel in love! thats her website, but ehre are a few other breeders in rhode island, i dont know if papers matter to you or not, i was looking in the newspaper today and the was an ad for chihuahuas, long and short coat for 350.. i have no idea if they have papers or not.. but if you want a number, i can get it for you.. let me know!
