Honest guys I am not doing this deliberately nor am I a Hypochondriac

Okay to keep you up to date, I crushed my spine, then cracked a left rib followed by cracking a right rib. Then Spike stood on my ankle giving it a nasty gash. Then I took 8 sleeping tablets instead of my steroids leaving me ill for a week, then caught an infection which meant I was nausea, dizzy and couldn’t walk as I had no strength in my body.

Today I had 2 appointments at the hospital, one at 2pm related to my spine and then another at 3.30pm for my lungs.

Brian as usual was dawdling getting me very frustrated and angry as he had to drive me to the hospital.

Finally at 5 to 2 we are just about to go out the door when.....

Red screams, I rushed like mad banging my knee in the process to find Red’s paw trapped in the pen panel. I yanked his paw out and sat holding him and my knee, which by now was throbbing.

Brian the prat said” Aren’t you gonna answer me then, I guess not”

When I finally found my voice, I shouted “Are you totally pathetic I couldn’t talk for the pain”

I then rolled up my pants to find ...... I’d badly split my knee open.

So Brian then had to call the hospital to cancel my 2pm appointment which I could now no longer attend, went to the doctors who said to go to the minor Illness Clinic at the hospital. (quicker than A&E)
There they prodded my knee in all sorts of ways to make sure no further damage was done to tendons etc, and then they Injected a needle right into the cut..... before putting in 5 stitches.

Finally with 5 in to go I made it to my 3.30pm appointment, the specialist decided I needed some extra pain relief for my cracked ribs as the pain was intervering with my breathing.

So off to the Pain Relief clinic where again I was prodded and poked and having cracked ribs poked is ... trust me when I say this ...bloody agony.

The result from that was having an pain killing injection which was put into the bone area of my ribs,, not just a simple needle in the arm.

So I am now hurting head to toe with a headache, sore ribs and a dodgy knee.. oh yeah I am back on the crutches.

So with reference to the subject. I had a fun day with horses arranged and had to cancel due to lack of interest, but someone knew I was gonna be injured once again...... so th ereal reason I cancelled was coz this accident was in the pipeline

Gawd... when is this all gonna end? I really just wanna play with my horses

Oh and Red is fine and I have sorted the pen so he can’t get hurt again...

You can all laugh now ..lol

Deme x

Just wanted to add this is one time I am pleased Brian messed about otherwise if we had of left the house on time , Red would have been trapped by his paw in pain screaming for around 4 hrs.... so this time I am pleased we were late and Red was rescued in seconds.

OMG you poor thing! Sorry but I could not laugh after reading all that - you must be miserable! I hope your pain eases and you start feeling better real soon. I would say you have had more than your fair share of mishaps and you definetly don't need anymore! Take care! (((HUGS)))

OMG, I just saw the picture you posted of your knee - WOW you really did knock the holly ba-geezers out of it! I can't imagine how bad that must have hurt! YIKES!

I gotta laugh coz if i don't I'll bawl my eyes out, though I admit I have cried a few times coz yeah I am totally depressed and stressed out now. Being stressed don't help my lungs either....

I just want to be normal, no pain, crtuitches or any health probems even if jhsut for a month or so to give myself a break. I am wanting to go to Newcastle to see my son and dad, now that has been held back..

I daren't breath in case I go and do something else, but on a postive note, Red is fine, his paw is okay and that is very important to me.

I ran quite fast... Red was priority.... into the conservatory door. it has a thin ridge going all the way down rather than a handle to open and close it and I think it is that I hit my knee on..

A stupid accident, but at least Red is okay....

I keep thinking another few seconds I'd have left the house and he would have been trapped in pain for ages.. rather me than him...
