Hi everyone: a funny tale about the cat in the household full of chihuahuas. Jazzy is a Siamese cat that is 14 years old. Every day she has several times when she goes 'crazy'. She gets all puffed up, meows, and goes tearing around the house making the dogs very nervous. She will swat at them but doesn't really hurt them, then its over and she becomes the quiet cat that I know. The other morning I sat down at the computer and there was no power. Checked the circuit breaker--OK. Finally (a hour later) I figured out that the power surge that the computer was on was 'off'. Evidently Jazz during one of her rampages had stepped on it and turned it off! Darn cat.! I told her she had used up one of her 9 lives, 'cause I was gonna kill her! (rest assured she is safe and well loved!)

I see your post was written a long time ago, but I can add something of my own. I have a siamese cat too, this`s very active breed that is more focused on hunting than any other. Simba’s super-playful and loves to run around the house, he usually has these bouts of madness in the evening. Do you live in an apartment or a single-family house? It`d be nice to let him out for a walk, even if he’s on a leash. BTW, I’m considering getting him a cat companion. I wonder - can 2 cats eat from the same bowl? My kitchen isn’t exactly what you’d call spacious.
