For your doggie to get a Challenge certificate, do they have to be unbeaten in all the classes they enter?

I'm trying to get my head around all this terminology!

yes, to go into the challenge (all the class winners compete for the CC) you have to remain unbeaten, so if you enter 2 classes and are beaten in one and win the other you can't go into the challenge, and you can't withdraw from a breed class to remain unbeaten

Generally people do the age classes until they are too old then depending on wins which dictate what you enter next...some people go straight from Junior to Limit most go from Junior to Post Grad and win out of Post Grad before moving on to Limit

Have you got all the definitions of each class? if not i can post them here or you can find them in any schedule

One thing to bear in mind at Ch shows that Novice and Graduate and any Special classes are not Crufts qualifiers, although the qualification criteria for 2015 has not been announced yet normally its only Minor Puppy, Puppy, Junior, Yearling, Post Graduate, Limit, Open and Veteran that qualify for Crufts in our breed

Ah thanks Chloe! Well Meadow and I have our first show tomorrow and see how it goes.
Her stacking and walking has improved greatly with only 2 week of training for this show so I am quite excited. However, I am not sure about the breed conformation so I shall have to wait and see on that front.

So far I have entered her into the puppy classes as she is 7 months old still. I saw a champion show with a minor puppy and I though that would be good to enter as I imagine there would be less competition due to the small age range but I think that is a little too adventurous for us just yet!
Let's see how tomorrow goes first! :D
