Hey everyone! :ngreet2:

Here are some...well ok who am I kidding?! ...here are A LOT of pictures from
Chanel's B-Day camping trip. We all had a lot of fun so I actually did not take
as many pictures as I usually do, but here are enough pics for you to get an
idea. Rocky, Benji and Chanel had a blast, played and ran a lot, but unfortunately
my old & broken camera doesn't take action shots. I do have some videos though
that I will post later.

Papa making fire to keep the bugs away because they bit my poor little eyes.

Once we got back home I started on the laundry right away, I emptied the bag of
dirty clothes onto the bathroom floor, went to the kitchen to get the detergent
and came back to this...baby girl was tired from her trip!

Bannock is a type of bread consisting of flour, water, salt and magic powder,
cooked on fire. I make mine slightly different though, so it's more filling and
yummy, I make it more of a cake by adding powdered eggs, milk, sugar and
raisins as well. It takes in the fire smell and tastes amazing! :thumbright:

Hey girl, no comments on the nature stuff 'coz the older I get the less I like the bleedin' elements, BUT, I spy with my little eye some gorgeous, gorgeous new collars & leads on them thar Basenji's!!! And I thought the a la natural sets were spesh, but those take the cake for beautiousness!

In Australia that bread is called "Damper".

The collars are actually old, I got them two years ago but hubby didn't like
the color so we did not use them. Now that our boys used up all of their
hound collars I thought we had to order new ones, then remembered that I
had these, it was a nice surprise. It's tough since they need special thick
hound collars, so I get them custom made, it's a little pricey and takes about
a month to get here. I'm glad you like my Basenji boys, not many people like
the look of them, which is surprising to me, I find the breed stunning and very
interesting.

Oh and I Googled "Damper", it looks very tasty! Same ingredients, except you
guys add butter, so I bet it tastes even better than Bannock.

Yes, and so did we. Hubby, the pups and I are all big time nature lovers, tree
huggers, lol, we spend most of our free time outside. It's good for the mental
and physical, you know.
