Yes, this is the 3rd time i have changed my mind. I was originaly getting a smooth coat female but the breeder is very worried about her size, she is 12 weeks and only 9oz. I am a first time chihuahua owner and decided not to take the responsibility of a extra tiny pup. I loved this little girl, but i decided to take her larger Brother. He is long hair, his coloring is ahrd to explain...white is tanish like markings. He is 12 weeks and 16 oz. So still a little guy but not so fragile. Im still getting him thurs.
12 weeks and half a pound?! WOW... Has she asked about the health/weight of the girl to her vet? That is real tiny at 12 weeks. But best wishes with the brother. I'm confident that you will do excellent with him! :thumbright:
You made a wise choice! My Chloe was only 9onces at 12weeks and she was a constant worry!. You will love the little long-coats!! My Teddy is the sweetest and most unusual little guy. So happy for you!!
you were right tiny pups are a lot of work and a constant worry, I know I wouldn't take on another tiny pup. Congrats on the new baby as everyone has said post pics
At 12 weeks and 1 lb is pretty darn small. According to the weight chart he is likely to be only 3 lbs. I have a 3 lb little girl and I think she is teensy! The little girl is off the charts she is so small. I hope she is ok...She will need a very very special and particular home. I think you made a very wise decision for the pup and yourself. I am interested to see what color th elittle boy is. We want pictures when you get him! I would love to have a little boy. I bet he is adorable. Congratulations!!!
