chi a one person dog?

I just got my pup and so far she seems very attached to me. She follows me around everywhere, wants to sit on my lap all the time, has to sleep in the bed with me with her head in my neck. She seems to watch wherever I go. Is this usual for chis? Do they become more dependent once they're older? I don't mind this at all.. just wondering because she even wants to be picked up when i'm holding the baby. She loves my fiance too (well, everyone else too) but it seems like we have a bond.. maybe it's because she's already spoiled. heh

i think most the time when u get a new chi they stick with one person until they get to know everyone but I Know just talking about Mia (my Chi) she was very attached to me untill she got to know everyone else but still she comes to me more then the rest and she seems to be most friendliest to me and more attached to me then the kids and my hubby but really the last month I have been dumped she dumped me for the dang cat....those 2 r very close and i am getting jealous LOL...

I was hoping she'd stick to me like glue forever. lol As for my cats.. they run from her! So I don't have to worry about that lol I might have to worry about my other dog.. it may be puppy love.

I think thats very normal. I have read that many times - that chis are one/two people dogs.
However, my chi seems to be the exception. She is equally friendly to everyone, especially if you are eating!

lol yes mine will go to anyone if there is food involved.

Ozzy loves everyone in the family - unless they are strangers then he will bark - where lily is very timid of most people and only really loves ma and adam but me the most - she is finally warming to my mom though as we have had her 5 months and she just let her pick her up for the first time yesterday :wave:

Right Ive always heard they stick normally to one person also. Mine followes me wherever I go. i like it too

. He loves everyone in sight but its different with me for sure.

Auggie is very friendly to everyone but not like he is with me and my husband and especilly me

He follows me all over the place and is definitely my baby. He does however like to play more with my husband. I guess we just have our assigned roles in his eyes :lol:

Mikey sticks to me. When I 1st got him he always wanted to be held. Now he is 4 and 1/2 mnths and he still wants me to constantly hold him :roll:
