Oh she is so cute! I'm so glad she could inspire the people at the centre. You can learn so much from animals, the way they just get on with things and don't let anything get in their way. What a gorgeous little girl.
Thank you for sharing Christina. Great message, reminds us to be thankful,
optimistic and positive no matter what life throws our way. More people need
to pay close attention to their dogs' behavior and LEARN.
Great Story! So many people do not realize that a disability is just something you see. My Huly taught me that. The best book I ever read was Gwenn Cooper's Homer's Odyssey (about a blind cat). She thought she would have to teach him how to live but he taught her how to live.
My niece was in kindergarten and drew a photo of my Huly (one eye and all) and the teacher told her No cats have 2 eyes and she put up a fight that no Huly only has one. The fight went back and forth for awhile but Lina would not back down. I was watching her that week and when I went to pick her up she was upset and told me the story. So we walked into the school I pulled out my phone and showed the teacher Huly only has one eye and that a disability is only what you see as Huly never shows nor acts like he might be different. She was embarassed and apologized and of course my niece did the told you so LOL
I love stories like this!
