I am trying to find out how tall Chihuahua's are...I went to the American Kennel Club website and looked at thier Chihuahua page ... and it doesn't tell you! How odd is that? It just mentions that anything over 6 pounds is a disqualification.

Do you know how "tall" Chihuahua's are meant to be? How tall is your Chihuahua? Oh - and if you have an answer please tell me if that size is from foot to shoulder or foot to top of head. THANKS EVERYONE!

I heard 9 inches....Kemo wont stand still long enough to see.....it may even be up to 12 but on that I am not 100%....

Daytona is about 8/12 from shoulder to foot he is 2 yrs and weighs 6lbs

Tucker is 6 months old and is 9 inches at withers, i.e. from the floor to the top of his shoulder. I'm not sure what the 'Standard' height is---or even if there is one.
