Hello! I'm new here and posted some pics of our Los Angeles chi playgroup, and a few people had interest in groups of their own, so I thought I would put the info up here.

You can do a search to see if there is an active group in your area, and if there isn't one, you can start one! If the group doesn't have an organizer, don't be afraid to take the reins, the meetup website makes it easy to manage your group.

It took a few months to get the group going, and with a little effort, we have a pretty good turn out (10-14 dogs for our regular meeting, 25 is our record for our holiday get together).

We meet at a local dog park, and we have some special get togethers at our homes (those of us lucky enough to have a yard in LA). We had a pet psychic pot luck, a holiday party, and we are planning a birthday party for June. We're also working on a presentation from a dog trainer (not that ANY of our little angels EVER misbehave :lol: ).

If anyone want to get a group going in your area, I'd be happy to offer what advice I have.

I am going to go look at the site after this, it would be cool if you got it going in your area.

It was cool meeting you, too. I am excited about Tiny and have found a good place for her crate in a little alcove next to our bed.
