First thanks for allowing me into this forum. I've pretty much reached my wits end and don't know what to do. We adopted what we believe to be a chiweenie as a puppy. She is now a year old. She is very loving and friendly in most cases, except when she is laying or sitting on my wife's lap either in bed or on the couch. If any of my children or myself try to sit on the couch while their together she snaps and bites and it's a real bite, drawing blood. We all spend time with her, she's actually sleeping on my lap right now. Its obviously some sort of protection thing with my wife. I can't even reach for the remote if it's next to her on the couch and she's with my wife. I'm concerned for my children and people that may come over. I need to stop this but at this point I don't know what to do. Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
