what do you use for your dogs teeth cleanings?I am currently using the petz oral gel for a few weeks hope it removes the tartar and plaque i really don't want to take her for a vet dental cleaning

i dont actually brush tillies LOL ive tried but she does not like ANYONE going near her mouth! lol any suggest would be good for me? lol x

I use the Petzlife gel also. I try to brush their teeth daily. They hate the taste of the gel, so I just brush w/o it and then put it on after. Their teeth are sparkling white

Shannon, try just putting your fingers in her mouth to start. Just rub her gums and look at her teeth- she has to get used to it. Then you can work up to using a brush or cotton swab. My dogs were absolute terrors to begin with, Lion would bite me like crazy when I brushed his teeth. Now he sits nicely on his back to have his teeth brushed- it just takes work.
