Do you keep your pups collar on at all times? No I don't use the collar to walk her or anything. Just wondering... Dolly seems to be going bald where her collar is.. like my the neck/chest.

Also, does your furbaby have stinky breath? Boy, I can't handle the kisses anymore, it's horrible! lol

no mine owner ecer where a harness to walk and dont where a collar around the house purely for the reason you state.

neither of my dogs have breath that really smells bad - do you brush her teeth or give her greenies etc?
I keep a loose collar on Sunny he likes to sneak out side when the schnuazer is let out and him being a new rescue he sticks right on his big brothers heels. This way if the neighbors spot him with his tags on they know hes mine. Plus Butch tends to wander thro out 10 acres chasing squirrels and be gone all afternoon.Hes big enough the local bobcat leaves him alone but Sunny might be considered a snack.
:D Stinky has his on most of the time...he doesn't have it when i forget to put him on after a walk (walk him with harnees) or after a shower..and i can totally say he has one purely for fashion's sake :D It's pink leather! :D

I have never heard of greenies.. and no I don't brush her teeth. I didn't think you really had to brush a dog's teeth?! I have a collie and his breath is fine.
I also walk Dolly on a harness but I use the collar just for fashion around the house. :) Also if she sneaks out/gets lost. Although like I said.. I don't like how it's making her bald there.
yes dogs teeth should either be brushed or they should be given healthy teeth cleaning chews - if her breath is really bad I would get her checked by the vets
I don't have a collar for Baby yet, but recently we have introduced her to her harness and try to get her to wear it for periods of times to get used to it. And boy does she ever put up a fight when we have to put it on her!
 Oh yeah, sorry...forgot to add about the baldness issue..Stinky's first collar was driving him crazy..i thought it was just that he didn't like it...but no, it was the collar itself..it had little fabric/nylon pieces sticking out and that is what was making Stinky scratch himself..maybe Dollys collar is the reason..? check it out for scratchy spots and if is not leather..maybe whatever material is giving Dolly an alergic reaction the dyes and stuff...check that out  hope it helps..
I keep the collars on only in the house. I like them just because I think they are cute. I also change them alot too. How tight do you keep the collar? Mine are extremely loose. So loose they could probably slip them off their heads if they'd figure it out.

About the breath, my boys breath isn't bad. Sometimes Buster can get some stinky breath but it's just occasional. I am a very BAD momma but I don't brush their teeth. Mr. Peepers absolutely hates it and I can't get in there for anything. I've tried tiny toothbrushes, many toothpastes and he won't allow any of them. I do get them the dental thingy's and stuff though. Like the breath freshners, the greenies and such. Their vet says their teeth aren't bad but does recommend teeth cleaning of course.
Fortunately I don't have to worry about Auggie sneaking out. The only way he could get out is if he goes through the door when we open it and I would catch him no matter what. Usually he is too excited when we come in to do that. So he doesn't wear a collar only his harness when we go for a walk.
We do use a collar to walk Pip, he seems to like it a lot, so we figure, why ruin a good thing? But, just to take him out to pee. If we were going to go out for a day, I'd use the harness.
I found greenies weren't working for my little boy so I got him Breath-eze, they are chewable breath mints for dogs and it works great. His breath was better the first day of taking them.
