Josie was really digging at her neck yesterday after a bath, so I scooped her up to check it out. She's got these little white flakes around that area and it looks like dry skin. Is there anything I can put on there to make her feel better?

Aveeno Oatmeal Medicated Bath (for humans) can be used 3 times a week on dogs and cats to soothe dry and itchy skin.

Epsom salts can also be used (1 cup per gallon of water) but it says to soak the "infected" area for a while... I doubt any of us could soak our chis for longer than 10 seconds LOL

I couldn't find any kind of lotion to rub on the area in my Dog and Cat first aid book though, other than Caladryl and Cortaid.

the ones suggested above, there's no age limit or requirement. Since they're topical treatments, you just want to make sure the puppy doesn't lick off any creams like caladryl. :D
