Hi all.

My 4-year old chi (Bonbon) had a fight over a toy squirrel with her sister. She now has hematoma on her left ear which now looks swollen, have hematoma and just flops down. Vet says there's nothing that can be done. She shakes her head all the time and by the way it is swelling it looks like she's in pain. Has anyone's chi had this? Is there really nothing that can be done?

First thing that came to my mind is maybe putting a cool compress to it, but I'm not a vet so I don't know. Your chi will just have to wait it out, I'm sure it will be better in a day or two
