During the week I don't have much time on my hands so I make the doggies breakfast and dinners during the weekends. I prepare Stella & Chewys (3/4 patty each meal) with their meds/vitamins in each bowl. I then just have to take the days AM or PM bowl out, add the Salmon oil.... alittle water... and

its done :)

I also have ZP and Primal, although the Primal needs to be refrigerated and then warmed...so they only get Primal on a weekend...

Great Job, I put Amberleah in Plastic baggies for each meal and froze. Your way looks much nicer.
I love your organization Jan! Fantastic!

well, 'organized' isn't the word for me that comes to mind...... others call me crazy, anal, nutso..........
... I like organized better....

I will weigh each S&C patty before placing it in a bowl to make sure each doggie gets the same weight amount...... Also Chico is on a diet and if I have the bowls ready I don't have the chance to 'fudge' alittle and give them more.... the Vet said they need 25% less food after their Neuter so this way I can adhere to the "25% less rule" easier.

That is great! there are a few of us here who are this nutso, I mean organization freaks. From one to another, I appreciate your effort!

See, some people say to me, "what you do takes SO much time". Wrong. I do the organizing things I do to SAVE time. I am never running around frantic and then late because I did not plan nor organize. So, I'd rather calmly spend a few minutes to help make to rest of my days as calm! I know you understand!! haha!

Seeing pictures like this makes me so happy, lol. Jan great job! :thumbright:
I wish you and Karen lived closer, no one else understands this type of fabulous
thinking! lol Every aspect of my life is thought through and organized, I'm lost
without my daily schedule or my labels! lol Some think it is extra stress or work
like Karen said, but really my mind is at ease when everything is planned out. :)
I need to get some containers like that for mine. Looks much more organized and planned out.

hahahahaha........ it actually helps me with Chico's meds.... otherwise I tend to forget to add them to a meal until its all been eaten *sigh*
Why does Chico need meds Jan?
I am not organised at all, chaos rules here (I don't even have a clock lol) but I do use those plastic lidded tubs to feed the dogs. More hygienic for the fridge, and my daughter can see what is in them and not open up packages of raw meat by mistake when she is looking for a snack.
I was proud of myself today, actually got around to making labels for all the bags of portion sized dog food in the freezer, so no more surprises!
Why does Chico need meds Jan?
he is still in need of his hip surgery so I am feeding him the joint meds....and occasionly pain meds... he has good days and bad days..... today he wasn't feeling well..... and I can relate to his leg aches *sigh* although my hip doesnt' need to be replaced....

Sorry to hear that. My Benji has similar issues too, so I sympathize.
What helped him tremendously is losing weight. Also the supplements
keep his joints lubricated, which seems to help quite a bit. So do you
also give Gluco and Chondroitin? What do you use for pain, buffered
Aspirin? I'm also sad to hear about your leg aches, I hope that you
can manage the pain and it does not interfere with you enjoying your
life. I wish both you and Chico good health.
