That's what I was thinking. I bet that is funny to watch. That is funny! She sounds like she is trying to kill it lol!
That is too funny!!!!!!!!! All Cricket does is take a piece of food and take it to her blanket to eat. Sometimes she tries to bury it, but I don't let her. Other than that nothing funny like that.Haha Chloe doesn't do this with her food because she is too busy eating it. haha But if you give her any treats that are bigger more like the cracker type instead of meaty she does this. It's hilarious! I have a video of her doing it.

When we had Chloe on Canidae she would do this with it, too. When we switched to Fromm she turned into a little piggy! You wouldn't know it though because she's so thin. We upped her food amount recently because she was too thin. The doctor says she's the perfect weight for her size now though, but she seems too skinny to me!Chloe and Toby could be twins. They are the exact same, except he does it with any and all food. It's a struggle to get him to stop playing wih his food and eat!
now thats a cut video!Haha Chloe doesn't do this with her food because she is too busy eating it. haha But if you give her any treats that are bigger more like the cracker type instead of meaty she does this. It's hilarious! I have a video of her doing it.

Same here. Lady carries one kibble at a time to a new location, eats it and then comes back for one more. Lady does this for several kibbles and then settles into eating. Sometimes if a kibble doesn't suit her she places it outside the bowl and eats it last. She never dives into her food like most dogs do. Sometimes I'll put food down and she doesn't touch it for 5-10 minutes.Odin does this! He'll go to his bowl pick up one piece carry it somewhere then sit it down and play with it! He does it like 5 times, then he'll start to stay at his bowl and eat one piece at a time. He takes forever to eat.
I thought that was just Cricket. When she gets full, she tries to bury her remaining food.I read that this was a Chihuahua thing because they like to eat on carpet and they tend to like burrowing and hiding their food. I know my first Chi would get any treats and take them back to her bed and she wouldn't eat them until she had. Then our other dog wasn't allowed anywhere near the bed if it was a bone she had!
Omg! I just imagined finding lamb liver in my couch 3 days later.ugh, that sort of thing is whats scaring me away from raw feeding honestly. My two are raw fed so generally just hoover up their food, but they will try and bury things they don't like (which doesn't leave much TBH) When I stupidly tried to give them lambs liver, (lovely and fresh from the meat counter at Sainsburys) they hid it behind the sofa cushions. It's a good job I was watching lol. Lesson learnt, they only like chicken livers.
Bambi plays with her treats just like Chloe does. so cute.
