So excited , i finally found a store (after days of searching for one) where they sell, totw and Blue buffalo wilderness. So i got a bag of each, im still going to feed the rest of the "science diet mixed into it" as they are used to it till it's completely gone(not much left), then im only doing Totw & Bbw only, both mixed! I gave them a lil try of each and OMG success they love it! The store did not have ziwipeak but i mentioned it to them, who knows maybe if i request it they may carry it in the future. For now i can order it online. So both 5 star ratings on the food, i know ziwipeak is the best for most, but 5 star is better then the crappy science diet and eukanuba they were eating. The reason i had'nt switched them is cause thats what each was used to and has'nt been long since i have actually had them. But after my research and finally finding the right place 2 get it and the right food, vuala glad to say they are finally going 2 eat better. And i still plan on buying my de-hydrator 2 make them snacks, no more store brand snacks! And still planning on trying ziwipeak. Question for you experts of zp, would it be ok 2 feed them totw & bbw mixed for one meal and then do zp as there next meal? and also some home made snacks evry now n then? :) I don't want to over feed or under feed. It's so funny they ate some of the food when i was opening the bags and they ate it like it it was treats, must be good tasting hehe!!! Thank you all for all the info you guys post, i have learned alot from this forum!!! hugs 2 all******:daisy:

I'm new to ZiwiPeak, myself. However, I feed Lacey her breakfast as Blue Buffalo Freedom. Mid-day, I'll give her a little snack of Blue, and then for dinner, she gets Ziwipeak. She doesn't get excited over breakfast anymore. Dinnertime rolls around, though, and she KNOWS it's Ziwi time and she does her happy dance. :)

Congrats on finding 5 star foods for your babies!
I really wish that we had a better variety of pet shops here in Tyler, TX. I really miss the specialty pet shops that we had in WV. I had two pet stores there that I knew everyone on a first name basis and if I requested something special they would get it for me and keep it in stock so that I always had it available. Hopefully the place will stock ZP for you!

I know what u mean about tx, trust me that is why it took so long for me 2 get better food, i live in waxahachie tx not far from u :), in el paso i had more options, now im south of dallas in a small town. I finally found it thow at a great feed store, no more going 2 petsmart for me or pet-co unless it's for other stuff lol!

I'm new to ZP also and I could not get over how little the portions you need to feed are. If you try to feed more because you think they probably want it they WILL put on weight. Lulu put on weight very quickly, and I had to cut her back. I just added frozen green beans and she loves them--eats them like little green bean popsicles. lol
