Well betsy gets her first raw meal shortly,hate kibble and swore I would never feed another dog kibble,got some great advice on feeding chi 's raw so I'm feeling confident,I've been told by the breeder not to feed raw but betsy is my dog and my vet agrees with raw so here goes,karen

Nice! I'm sure she's going to love it. You should take some pics and post them on the raw feeding pics thread. Raw is great. Your breeder doesn't know what they're talking about. If I could afford it, I would feed Gemma only raw.

I'm very happy to hear you have a vet that is supportive of the raw feeding too. That is how I got started 13+ years ago!!

I raw fed my bulldog for 14 months before we lost her,so know about raw but the difference in breed really threw me,going from a pound of feed a day to the tiny amounts betsy needs I will have to be very careful not to over feed her,she had a vets appointment yesterday,we have had her a week and she's put half a pound on !,vet said she will be a larger chi,the breeder told my husband she will be tiny,so when she finishes growing what will she be?,time will tell,karen
