My husband and I love to go fishing. We keep year round licenses. I'm just wondering, can I feed her the fish too? I mean I don't see why not, and I bet she would love it.
Thanks for the link.I am pretty sure that Trout is fine but you might have to debone it and not feed the head -- someone else here will know. There are some raw fish that are dangerous to feed but I don't know what they are...hopefully someone here will!
Feeding fish to your dogs and cats
Know anything about catfish? Would it work the same? I've read some mixed reviews on feeding fish. I'm still unsure how to go about it. Do you feed whole or fillet? We fillet our own fish. My husband feels manlier somehow lol. Just curious, as I've stated, I've read mixed reviews on raw fish.I've gotten & fed smelts I had gotten from my brother. I personally would keep it frozen for a couple months to kill any parasites that may be in there as some fish do contain them. Cooking kills them when we eat fresh fish...but freezing them for a good length of time does as well. I have a couple bass in my freezer my daughter & brother caught a year & a half ago...just haven't gotten around to feeding it. haha
