Here's one for ya:
When Flea got her teeth cleaned the other day @ the vet, they also took out a cyst on her belly - leaving her with one stitch. Since then, however, she's been attempting to scratch the stitch. Thankfully, she can't reach it - BUT she keeps trying and has created a sore, scraped patch of skin beside it on her belly. I put a sweater on her this morning that might hopefully cover the area so she can't scratch it (but I'm afraid the sweater might not be long enuff, and she might be able to dig her foot under it. )..also, if the scabs come off, the sweater rubbing on the scrape might cause infection....
What should I do? Buy a longer sweater? Band-aid? Vitamin E?
ERGH!
