Well I'm in for the night. I had a pretty boring day but my boyfriend and I rescued a loose rooster earlier and brought him to a small farm of someone he used to work with. That was my highlight for today I'm not feeling well though and have pink eye so I'm trying to stay in. I know its highly contagious! Anyways I uploaded a bunch of pictures ontp photobucket. I thought it anyone else was as bored as me they'd enjoy them. I decided to use the links this time since I didn't take the time to resize them. Enjoy!

My little captain is growing up! He is such a love too. He'd cuddle all day long.

Thanks you guys. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be better. I've had pink eye before but I can't remember if it caused a stomach ache like the one I have now. It's nothing too bad though.

The rooster wandered up into the neighbors backyard and wouldn't leave. He was so pretty but his tail was missing and he was scabbed up so we knew wherever he came from probably wasn't caring for him properly. The neighbors were feeding him cat food and lettuce and maybe corn but I knew that wasn't right. We got on the phone right away with the national wildlife rescue who said they wouldn't take him because so many people buy their kids chicks for easter and when they grow up they dump them. They said in Ft. Lauderdale (about half an hour away from here) they run around all over the place. I know in the keys they run "wild" too. I would have loved to keep him but I dont even think that's allowed in my area. They wont even let anyone around here have a boat at their house. The guy that took him up north to his farm said his tail looked like it had been pulled out by an animal that attacked him. Poor rooster. He was so cool! We put him in a spare dog cage with a towel and he rode in the backseat

i'm lovin the pics katie! very adorable! i like when jacks wet inthe pool, i have to get mine to do that was the rooster nice? it seems like he was used to people i guess since he let you all pick him up.

Love the pictures, Jack is a handsome boy. Of course they are all adorable. I love the pics of Jack wet and shaking off. It must be fun to take your chi in the pool with you. Glad your feeling better.
