I have had Tequila in puppy class, basic obedience, and now basic agility. She loves it and it is wonderful if you want your dog to be socialized. I would highly reccomend it! My biggest suggestion would be that you actually sit in on a class and decide if you like the trainers methods. I find that my chihuahuas dont respond to most kinds of training which involve choke/pinch collars. I found a class that uses clicker training/positive reinforcement and Tequila has excelled! She ended up getting best in class in basic obedience and is excelling in agility as we speak (had class today and she ran the course off leash and only had one mistake...not bad for the second week  )
That is my opinion about the matter 8) Hope this helped

Oh, just so you know where I am coming from....I am a dog trainer  so I am a little bias...hehe. If you feel that your dog is learning what you want it to learn, then why spend the money. I am always quick to suggest training classes because I am in the buisness :D
