Hello im wondering of Nemo is old enough and weighs enough for frontline?
Im not really sure about his weight other than hes small as can be and 11 weeks old. He got fleas though. I gave him a puppy flea bath but it didnt seem to work well.

Kemo is on Frontline Plus and the box says 8 weeks. You MUST do everybody in the house and your home or it will never end!!!! Don't treat just one dog, do the cat and the other dog too, all rugs, fabric furniture.

Yes as Kemos mom says you have to treat all other pets and the house too.
My vet told me to wait until Sandy was 2 pounds before I could use the Frontline Plus.

I think that Advantage can be used at very young ages both in puppies and kittens. Call your vet's office and they will be able to let you know what product would be safe to use on your puppy.

The only thing i like about the frontline over the advantage is its water proof. I have the other dog and cat already on frontline though. thanks for the info. ill be getting Nemo some soon.

The insert that comes in the box of Advantage now claims that Advantage stays effective even after bathing. Don't know if it truly does, just passing along the info.

Puppies under 10 lbs can use Advantage or Frontline for puppies if they are older than 8 weeks. Check out the boxes. It should say on the front! =)

I am getting a puppy in the next 3 weeks, i went there yesterday and the person said that he got flea and need flea bath every 10 days once. If i use the front line what do you mean do the house? How? :?:

Can i asked her to bath him before i take him so that the flea will die... will that work? :?: :?:

chichi, you only need to put the Frontline on your puppy---you will not need to bathe him. Apply the Frontline when you go to pick your pup up and that should take care of it.

The recommendation for doing the house is for someone who already has their puppy in their home and the pup has fleas on him. The fleas jump off the dog and lay their eggs in the carpet, etc. So if you have a pet in your home that has fleas, you may get an infestation once the eggs hatch.
