I trim the paw/pad fur every couple of weeks or so. Get's rid of anything sticky stuff or dirt that might be irritating their pads and allows them them to clean their paws easier with out chewing. I also wipe their paws once I am done trimming to get rid of any loose hair. As a side note I only cut the fur flush to the pad and then trim around the shape of their paws (of course be careful of their nails. I usually trim those to at this time). I do not cut the fur down between the pads.

that great help thank you guys. cuz i did it once and i was told b a friend i wasnt supposed to but its all good thank you for clearing it up for me :D also the vet cuz shadows nails for free so i get them done often
