Today I went with my friend PAti (the one who just lost her brother) we had to go to Walmart(she works there) and we had Gadget with us.. It was way to hot to leave him in the car. So I took his bag and we went in the store... he was so cute... everytime Pati wold walk by the cart(he was sitting where the kids sit) and he could see her he would bark at her.. it was funny because she was talking to one of her managers and he saw pati and barked... And we looked at him and at the same time we said be quiet.... IT was so funny the manager lady started laughing at us... We saw about 3 managers and none of them said a thing about him not being aloud in the store... It is funny because if you go past the people in the front that greet you and they see the dog they will tell you you can't go in with the dog...
I guess we were in the store for a couple hours and not 1 person told us told us we couldn't have him in there... it was funn everytime Gadget would see Pati he wanted her to play with him because that is what they always do... it is funny because not even being in the bag in the store stopped him from wanting her to paly with him... It was like having to little kids walking through the store playin around.. it was too cute..

That's a cute story. Gadget is such a sweetheart. :love5:
When I first got Chewy as a puppy, nobody said anything to me when I brought him in stores.. like Wal-mart! I even got away with bringing him into the resturant/diner Friendly's. He just sat on the booth quietly sleeping and eating a few french fries. Now that he's bigger people are less nice about letting me get away with him going into places. Which sucks because he's like my child so it's hard to leave him in the car or having to leave him home because I'll be gone too long to keep him in the car.
yeah chi's are mostly seen through the fingers  i have had that experience too .

mostly i say upfront " oh no dogs allowed " and mostly they say well you can take that in

kisses nat
ive not tried yet - but i have a feeling they wouldnt allow him in the shops!
That's such a cute story. At least he didn't have to wait in the hot car all that time.
Awh...Gadget got a shopping excursion. Sounds like a fun day.

How fun that sounds! I envy all of you that can take your babies with you places. Taco just gets motion sick in the car. The last time I tried to take him, he threw up in my lap. So, I think I'm done trying now. Yuch! Gadget is such a cutie, no wonder the managers didn't say anything.....he's too cute to say no.
When Mr. Peepers was little I would take him in Wal-Mart with me. The only people that ever gave me problems was the older lady's that would stand at the front. Other than that, the employees would always pet him. :D I would always take his portable house with us.
thank you everybody....

I am goign to get his front pack finished asap so we can go shopping more.. he loves going.. but wants to be on mommy's chest.... so I have to get to it soon... Almost done with the cabinets in the house....

Then it is sewing time... and alot of it..

Have a great day....

Man I just LOVE that little guy!!! :love5:
We took Rowdy to COSTCO with us because we were coming home from a play date and no one said anything - the people in front watched us walk in and no one said anthing the entire hour we were in there... when we got in line to pay the cashier called on her phone "SECURITY!!!!!" and basically - I got kicked out!!

:x Like they would have needed security! Idiots!
What a funny little guy Gadget is!

I've never taken Lily to Wal-Mart (the ones near us are sort of icky) but she's been to Target a bunch of times. As long as we stay out of the food section nobody has a problem.
