I picked up a food sample and a card from a booth at the farmer's market for this, it seems neat. They deliver to your house for free which is even more neat, but I wanted those who know better to check out the foods for me and see if it's even worth it or not to make the switch? I'm back to being way lost as far as what's the best to feed my dog all these contrasting opinions are crazy!!

Anyway... How does it sound?

I'd take a pass. On the chicken formula, the first ingredient is chicken meal which is fine, but it's followed by brown rice, milo (sorghum), and oat groats. That's VERY grain heavy. Farther down on the list is dried beet pulp. That has no nutritional value and is put in dog foods as a stool firmer.

I do see at the bottom of the dog and cat recipe page is a link to Natures Variety. You'd be much better off using their foods than the g'day brand.

Yeah I saw that too but I don't think they deliver that one? I will have to call and find out. What kind of NV would you recommend in that case? I looked at it though and isn't 35% protein a lot? No?

The lady at the booth said that brown rice was better than whatever grain she said was in regular kibbles. *shrug*
