Well Echo starting limping and not bearing any weight on her rear left leg, out of no where yesterday, so I took her to work with me and had the doc check her out and she said she is LAME :shock: in the rear leg do to a pinched nerve it could take months for it to heal and she put her on Zubrin 25mg once a day My poor baby!! And to top it all off she is 13 days into her heat cycle!!! :shock: Foxy wont leave her alone and keeps trying to mount her and it hurts her back leg!! I dont want to keep the poor thing caged up but when I am at work I guess I will have to so Foxy doesnt hurt her. She has never been caged before :shock: She is gonna hate me :? And she is not going to understand why She is being locked up. Oh it is gonna break my heart if she cries

KJ I feel for you... I would feel really bad having to lock her up too. I hope you are able to comfort her as much as possible.. Hope she recovers soon...

Did the vet say why she was lame?

Thank you for the sweet thoughts everyone Needless to say I got no sleep last night, I caged her right next to my bed because I didn't want her to be jumping off the bed or on the bed while I was asleep and she cried and whined all night It broke my heart to look over and see her shadow looking at me LOL She was so happy to get the heck out of there this morning. The Zubrin doesnt seem to give her any pain relief course I dont live in her body and I am probably thinking it not cause she is is still not baring weight. I am hoping there is no permanent damage. :?

That is horrible news and so scary it just happened out of the blue I can imagine how you feel having to crate her. Even though it is for her own good I would feel like you and be so upset
