Thanks Aly, I love your twosome too! :love2:
It was a very nice day, all the snow is finally melted, birds are singing,
the pups are loving all of the thawed grossness on the ground for them
to roll in. Luckily only Chanel's hoodie got dirty so I took it off,
I had to stop her several times after that though, right before she was
about to roll in something she would sniff it and start spinning in circles,
so I would say "No" and she'd look at me like "What?... that? Naw! I wasn't
going to roll in it! Pff!"
It's funny you said that, because hubby always jokes by saying Rocky is red like
his papa, Chanel blonde like her mama, so where does Benji get his dark looks
from?! lol I kid back by saying "From the mailman!" ...bahaha! :laughing9: :glasses7:
Oh they are extremely patient Ginger. She has good manners, and does not
annoy the boys, in return they are very lenient with her. It's a nice dynamic.
The three of them grow into better friends every day. I'm lucky they accept
her so well because usually Basenjis prefer their own kind. Even my guys who
have been brought up around several rescues get bored easily with other dogs.
Yet Chanel seems to always keep them entertained. Since she joined our family
the boys have been more playful, she brings out the puppy in them. It's fun to
No Kay, it's a regular park, I let them run at the baseball field.
Unfortunately there are not many areas designed for dogs in this city, we do
what we can. They only get to run at that field when it's empty or at 4am
during their morning walk when people are still sleeping. We usually go to a
great place for the dogs, it's an abandoned horse race track, it's huge they
have fun running there, but it's a further walk so when I'm too hurt we come
to this little park.
Oh Laura you are always so sweet!
You'd make a great friend in real life, always full of compliments, always making people smile. :daisy:
There are such good people on this forum, including yourself, that I would just love to meet in person.
I wish I could watch mine run around at large (too many hawks). She looks so very happy. I guess mine don't miss what they don't know. They have a very big sunroom, so that's our virtual park. Thanks for all the photos of Chanel and her brothers--they brighten my day.
