daisy is becoming more and more of a biter..is there anything i can do to make her stop and know it's bad?

also, she goes potty on her puppy pad during the night when she is in the laundry room... but during the day, she goes potty anywhere but the puppy pad. does this mean she is sorta getting the hang of it? i want to switch her over to litterbox training asap.. do you think it will work better than puppy pads? what brand of litter works best and wont make her sick if she curiously eats a bit of it?

i apologize if these questions have been addressed in other threads.. hehe.

It sounds to me like Daisy is getting the hang of the piddle pads but that she may forget where one is located when she is able to roam the house. I would either restrict her to one room all the time with a piddle pad in the corner or else bring her back to the piddle pad every hour or so if you let her have the run of the house while you are home.

I can't help you on the litter questions but I'm sure someone else can!

well, i havent yet gotten my pup yet but probably am going to litter train her, and have her go outside as well.. the way i see it is, both of them are equaly effective... both capture the same amount of smell.. but one thing the puppy pad does not do is.. well hide it i guess u could say, i rememebr going over to a friends house -- she has a shitzu.. i think, and he uses puppy pads.. located in the b-room, but it was awful gross to look at while u were in there, because theres nothing really convering it, but with the litter box, its not so much just out in the open... I dunno, just my opinion:)

Your friend needs to pickup the mess

Sounds like your friend is a little slow on the "pick-up" on the pad. When Dobbie poops without peeing, I pick it up and flush it immediately. That leaves the pad for the next time. Pee is different but we are usually good for 1 pad a day because we take walks, etc.
