Hi Fellow Chi-Peeps,
It's been a rough week for me, and I've been in a pretty foul mood all week long. I'm not going put in the post why, but if anyone wants to know they can feel free to ask. When I walked in the door tonight, I was still feeling down, ticked off, and sorry for myself. As soon as I walked in though, and took down the gate, Chi-zilla went nuts. He was bouncing all around, wagging, and just beside himself with how happy he was to see me. It hit me then that I really do have alot to be thankful for. I have a good job, a nice house, a good car, friends, family, and the unconditional love of a Chi. There's really alot for me to be thankful for. Sometimes you just need something to stare you in the face (or lick you there) to remind you just how lucky you are, and how much you have to be thankful for. I just thought I'd share that thought with everyone, and also pose a question. What is it that you are thankful for?

** happy thanksgiving**

Lets see what am I thankful for (I feel like Im trapped at my moms being asked this question on the spot before Im allowed to eat!) I am thankful for my son who just turned 4 years old yesterday & of course my family,my chis & basset hound, my health & I am most thankful that Ive finally been able to let go of all my hurt & anger that Ive been dealing with for nearly 5 years now it is so nice to be able to move on from that. (if anyone is interested in knowing what happened feel fre to ask & Illl give you the short version of it.)

happy turkey day!

what am i thankfull for?
Im thankfull for my chiwowies, there is nothing in this world like a chis love, they give so much and ask nothign in return, i thank them specifically for their unconditional love and devotion and for always being happy to see me no matter what mood im in.
Im thankfull for my family, while they might be more insane then i and have mood swings, and while they "just dont get it" i thank them for being there, for keeping a roof over my head and for helping me begin to get back onto my feet after a rough time with my disabilities.
Im thankfull for my frineds...who, while they live a good distace away and i dont get to see them half as much as id like, they accept me and make me happy, i thank them for not giving up on me and for being THEM, they add a little human sunshine into my life even on the rainy days.
Im thankfull for one specific friendship, while its a pretty messed up one that most wouldnt understand, and while he drives me INSANE much of the time, i thank him for making me feel wanted, needed, loved and for being one of the few people who never calls me crazy or a screwup...

I'm thanking for my family and friends, blah blah ;)
But I'm especially thankful for my Carl baby!! The little guy makes me feel so happy. I don't know what I would do without my baby.
I'm thankful that he's feeling better after I woke up the other day to him puking on my bed...cute.
You're right Brian, there is nothing like the unconditional love of a chi. :love5:

I soooo hear you Brian! Its not that I have had a rough week or anything.... Its just that I seem to start feeling really down when the holidays roll around. I have a very hard time getting into the holiday spirit. I know that I really shouldn't be this way as I have sooooo very much to be thankful for. I have my family and friends, the unconditional love of my chi, a nice home, a job that I enjoy, good health and soooo much more. I am a very fortunate person and I know that there are times when I take it for granted. Your message was a reminder that I need to be thankful today and every other day as there are alot of people out the world that would give anything to have a fraction of what I/we have. Thanks for the little kick in the pants! I definately needed it! Hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
