My Luna would jump from the very top of the couches to the floor....the vet told us that we have to watch out because she has soft knees.
I am so scared when I see her do that :? ...they are so tlittle dogs but so athletic at the same time :)

Tequila is crazy...probably what is causing her receint knee and hip problems. She will jump on and over ANYTHING. I bought a gate to keep my pups in my room and she jumped over it. She was so active I stuck her in agility to burn off all of that energy, but she is like the energizer bunny. I am paying for her daredevil acts now because everytime she walks she pops her knees out. She might be heading for surgery.

They think they are bigger and tougher then they really are *shake head* poor pups hears are bigger then their bodies can sometimes handle.

Nothing scares Bosco! He will jump from the arm of a chair onto the arm of the couch onto the end table...like a monkey swinging from the branches on a tree.

He is a little timid about jumping off of our bed (it is really high) but he'll do it.

They really don't have any idea how small they are sometimes!

wild things

Well, Molly isn't wild but I had a Yorkie Ava (she was killed in the spring by a neighbours dog). She was about 4lbs of wild woman! Two weeks after coming home from the breeder she jumped off my dd bed (which is high) and broke her "wrist". She had NO fear of any height. If she got outside she would run as fast and as far as she could. My boy Yorkies were almost a year old before attempting stairs. She did them almost from day one. Although she did fall down them once so was a bit nervous after that! I was thinking of buying a bubble to put her in. Her wild nature was what ulitmately killed her. My dd was letting our Lab inside and Ava darted out between legs and ran to the neighbours back yard. Their husky grabbed her and she died. She was only 9 months old.She was so full of personality, we sure do miss her around here! After she died I didn't want another pup but then i heard about Molly....
and the rest is history!

My Pepper is bad. He jumps on and off my bed & couches. Sometimes even running like crazy he will yip and it scares me. Crazy Chi's they just want to worry us.

Not to mention all the times my hubby has stepped on him, he's such a klutz.
