Hello all, my name's Amy. I form Ontario, Canada. I've been thinking of getting a chihuahua for quite awhile now. A relitive of mine had one a few years ago that I adored. I'm sure I could give my Chihuahua a great home. I currently have a 2 year old cat, her name is Aurora, and a cockatiel who I've had for about 8 years, his name is Ajax. I definitly plan to get Aurora declawed before I get a chihuahua. I just hope Aurora is willing to share lap space, lol. I'm just not sure where to look for chihuahua's and what the price range would be. If anyone can provide me with some help infomation, I'd greatly appreciate it. I don't plan to get the dog for at least 2-3 months. Just looking to get as much info I can get, and maybe a few books from the book store on chihuahua's with lots of cute adorable pictures.

Anyways, Thanks For Any Info You Provide, Amy!

I thought I would show off my current family, Ajax and Aurora! Ajax is a great bird, he loves attention. He will sit on my shoulder for hours and loves his neck rubbed. He also really likes to takes baths, I'll get a bowl of warm water and sit it on my lap, he'll hope in and take a bath. Aurora is just a big lazy suck, she loves attention and can't get enough of it, lol. I can't wait to make a 3rd edition to my family!

Thank you for the nabi for giving me an idea of what they cost, a little more than I expected. But I still think well worth it also. But that shouldn't be too hard as income tax time is upon us. I always get about $500 back so I can save that and one paycheck, I'll have more than enough. The only problem I have is that I don't drive or even own a car. So I'm hopping to find someone who breeds them closer to me. I live in London, Ontario. I've been going over the pictures in the forums and now I want one more than ever. =^_^=

I can see it now.. get home from work.. have my chi on one side of my lap, my cat on the other and the bird on my shoulder... I think I better grow a 3rd arm... LOL I defenitly plan to buy a book or two and read up some but I need to wait till pay day. I actually might be moving out of my appartment at the end of the month, so I might have to wait longer before I get my chi... boo hoo... but the good news.. If I move is I'd be closer to work.. so it would be quicker for me to get home. =^_^=
