I've had my 1st chi, Dexter, for 6 years now & my 2nd, Halle, for less than a year. With Halle & Dexter's help, six little chi's were added 2-1/2 weeks ago. Right now they're sleeping happily in a box on my bed because Halle refused to allow them to be anywhere else & I didn't have the heart to lock her in another room; when they're able to get out of the box I don't know what I'm going to do but I know I'd better think of something quick because that day's coming soon!

I just wanted to say "hi" to everyone & also say that I LOVE this site — it's just the place for a "crazy" chihuahua lady like me!

Thank you everyone for your kind welcome. I was thrilled to find this site & would spend all day on it if I had the time!

I am selling the pups, more's the pity…I already wish I could keep them all, but of course it wouldn't be fair to them since there's no way I can afford to give them the care they'll need. I'm keeping Pixel though; Suzie & Lola are spoken for so there's Alfie (the alpha male), Poco & Annie who will be needing homes. They're 3 weeks old today.

SC-I wasn't expecting six puppies, but was starting to wonder the last couple of weeks Halle was carrying them-poor little thing! But so far, she's the one that does all the work. After she won the war about keeping the pups in the bed, she's been perfectly fine! When they can get out of the box, it'll be a different story, I'm sure.

Ericka, I live in Tillman, in the middle of nowhere, about 8 miles from Ridgeland & I work in Bluffton. We're practically neighbors!

I don't know how I'm going to be able to force myself to part with any of them; I fall in love with them more every day. I guess I'll just have to keep reminding myself that I have to be fair to them. Their eyes have been open for a week now; they're really starting to wake up & their personalities are beginning to blossom. I don't think they're going to be able to stay on my bed much longer; I'm going to miss that  I'll try to get some new pics soon.
New Pic

Here are the pups at 4 weeks, getting bigger & badder! I hope to get better pics soon…I'm not much of a photographer.

Hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving.
I just can't tell you how much fun I'm having with these puppies. They're eating solid food now & chewing anything they can get their mouths around (I'm lucky to have any toes left!). I can hardly take my eyes off of them, & it IS hard to get anything done! These are the first chi puppies I've ever had…both Halle & Dexter (the mom & dad) came to me after they were full grown…so I had no idea how energetic & playful chi pups could be! They will be six weeks old on Friday & if I can get off of work early enough I'll be taking them for their baby shots & then I'll be putting an ad in the paper next Sunday to find them homes. :( The thought of them leaving makes me terribly sad but I'm going to be as careful as I know how to be to ensure that they get good & loving homes. My intention has been to keep one of them, but I'm beginning to have second thoughts since I'm already in over my head with two chi's, a lab & a poodle. It's going to be really hard to let them all go though!

It looks like they're all spoken for now, unless someone backs out. I'm going to miss them like crazy, but a least I'll have them for a little while longer. They are six weeks old now & got their first shots Friday…not one of them made a peep! I was soooo glad!
