We're new! I'm so excited to find this forum, we've looked for a good chihuahua forum for a long time.
Lola is estimated to be around 10 yrs old, and was found wandering the hospital parking lot. The owners never came forward to claim her. We've had her for four years. She's 3 pounds of pure sugar! She's very calm and loving. She hasn't barked in 3 years, and only barked 4 times during the first year we had her, lol. She will squeal like a mouse, though, if I've been gone a long time and she's excited to see me She is almost completely blind, has very few teeth, and has lots of special needs. I work from a home office, and she lives by my side. I never meant to have a pet, and was only supposed to take care of her temporarily. But I fell so in love and have adapted my life to accomodate her. She's my baby
Hi and welcome to you and Lola! I love your story and I can tell I'm going to love Lola. She is so adorable. I'll bet she's the biggest love bug in town. The day you found her wandering was her luckiest day of all.
Aww - she is is sweet. It is amazing how quickly these little guys can become the center of your life! I tell my family and friends, I don't own a chi, it owns me.
Oh how true they do surely owns us. I love the rescue story also. I was on my way from work yesterday and I stopped when I saw an older chi standing right next to the road and we went in search of her owner who was out several house down and looking franticly for Babett (who is deaf).
what a sweet story!! I am so happy for you and Lola. I am sure she is so gratefull that you found her. If only more people had half the heart you have, the world would be a much different place.

Your lola is the cutest thing. I am so glad she found such a wonderful home. I love rescue stories. Does her feet ever touch the ground. I"ve wanted a little carrier to carry mine with me.
