As the title says my name is Samantha and I am new not only to this forum not to Chi ownership. Family members have always had Chihuahuas some were mean yappy things and some were sweet lovebugs.
I have done lots of breed research and decided that I would look into Chi's now that I am a adult. I also have a Lab/Beagle and a 5lb Pomeranian both rescues. I live in a place in the city and after losing our other Lab I decided that I would look into smaller dogs.
Lacey came from a mutual friend who could no longer keep her. She is a purebred but is a bit on the bigger side of the Chi scale. She weighs about 7-8 lbs. She is 2 years old and very sweet.
I thought I would join here because not only do we have Lacey. But later this week we will be adopting another female Chi. Yes I am already hooked

It's a good thing I work from home so I can make sure all goes well. But the Chi coming to us is sweet and I think she will be a good fit. I will post pics of her when she arrives.
