Hi, I'm new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself and my new chi!
I am a first time dog owner, and my new puppys name is Cora. I got her a week and a half ago when she was 7 wks old. ( I know now I should have waited longer). So far she is doing great, she is black with white belly and two hind paws. Since I got her a bit young, I was wondering if there is anything specific I can do to help socialize her correctly so she ends up well-adjusted. Right now my boyfriend stays home with her all day, and I see her nights and weekends. Also I've noticed she eliminates alot. She'll get up, go potty, then a minute later go again, then go again, but just a few drops. Is this normal, or something to be concerned with? (We think it may be her trying to trick us into giving her more treats for going potty in the right place!)
So far all seems well, she even has started playing with my two cats!

Please post pics as soon as possible......You can just get her out as much as you can with all differnt situations. They do go thru fear stages I heard around 8-10 weeks so dont force her into anything....
as far as pee Bindi pees alot when she is hopping all over the house.....but she can hold it all day when we are not home--could be that she is tricking you (smart dog) but if its an infection you may see some blood and she may not seem herself.....you can always take a sample to the vet to be sure.
Boogaloo's Lola was doing that not sure if she still is....

Hello & Welcome I don't know if going that much is normal. When auggie was a baby I took him out about every 1 1/2 hours because he couldn't go very long and i wanted him to get the idea :wave:

We e-mail pics from the camera phone to the computer and store them in a file on the computer and then upload them to photobucket and then it's easy to show them here. I just learned how to do this so I'm very proud of myself and I think if I can do it anyone can because I am definitely computer retarded.
