have you ever considered having your chi profesionaly trained? I had this done to one of my chi's a long time ago and it worked out great!
but another method that I found works is put your chi on a leash, and when ever he looks like he needs to go potty then show him to the spot that you wish for him to relieve himself at. this does take a couple of days to a week for this method to work but I do believe that it is better then smelling urine. RIGHT?
