Hey Jenn!!!
Welcome to the forum! Can't wait to hear your questions and see pictures of your pups!
Enjoy your stay! This is an awesome place. :)
Welcome! Your pup only weighs 4 oz???
Opps typo should be a 7 I hit wrong key in dark last night she is small. That's why I asked about supplementing with some puppy replacement in the care forum.
Wow, 7 oz is still tiny. Taz weighed 20 oz when I got her and I thought that was small.

At that size it wouldn't hurt to add the milk replacement to her canned food and frequent small meals are really important. One of the biggest dangers with the tiny ones is hypoglycemia and that will continue to be a danger until she gets to about two lbs. Do you have a tube of Nutrical? If not I'd get one and keep it on hand. I would also go ahead and give her a taste of it to get her used to it in case you need to getbsome into her quickly

Yes I will go get the Nutrical and milk replacer today. So off to the Petstore minus Holly till she gets older to get all her vax done.
Hello and Welcome...forgot to mention on the food thread...she should be eating four to five times a day(if not leaving food out for her all day) to make sure she doesn't get hypoglycemic. Once she reaches a pound back it down by one meal. By a year old she'll be down to two meals a day..:) Abby, my 2.25lber was just under a pound at 13.5 weeks.
